Fortnite’s official status account addressed the issue in X, acknowledging common login errors.

Minutes later, the developer announced that the login issues had been resolved, but reminded players that some major modes were still unavailable.
“Login issues have been fixed, but as a reminder, Battle Royale, Zero Build, Save The World, and Ballistic will be temporarily unavailable during the Yuki’s Revenge premiere event.”

The outage follows a series of planned maintenance windows and event-related outages around Fortnite’s v39.00 update and Zero Hour live event. According to Fortnite’s event logs:
- November 30: v39.00 update downtime completed
- November 29: Multiple scheduled maintenance periods
- November 29: Servers taken offline for highly anticipated update after Zero Hour event
