When the reporter began speaking, the world leader angrily snapped: “I’m not taking questions from ABC’s fake news… After what you and Stephanopoulos did to the vice president of the United States, I’m not taking questions from ABC’s fake news.” He then quickly moved on to the press event and seemed willing to listen to other reporters.

A third said: “ABC must feel like a group chat you never answer.” But another said: “Incredibly narrow-minded and thin-skinned.”

This comes a year after ABC agreed to pay Trump’s presidential library $15 million to settle a lawsuit over its false report that reporter George Stephanopoulos was found civilly responsible for raping author E. Jean Carroll on-air.

Earlier today, guests gathered in the White House Rose Garden for the Medal of Freedom ceremony honoring the late Charlie Kirk, who was killed in front of a crowd in September. His widow Erika was among those attending the event held in memory of the activist and campaigner.

Trump said of Kirk’s death, which shocked the country: “This is a horrific, disgusting, evil act of murder.”

The world leader, who had just returned from the Middle East, insisted: “If there was anything in the world, I wouldn’t miss this moment.”
