Fundraiser for McClintock raises $36K after alleged antisemitic slur at Portnoy

More than $36,000 was raised in a fundraiser for a former Mississippi State University student accused of allegedly calling anti-Semitic slurs to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.
Patrick McClintock, 20, was charged with disturbing the peace after he was caught on video allegedly shouting “Jews” outside a pizza restaurant Portnoy was reviewing in Starkville on Nov. 7.
The Starkville Police Department said in a statement that it launched an investigation after a viral video showed an individual making anti-Semitic comments and throwing a coin at Portnoy outside a business.
McClintock was charged Monday with misdemeanor disturbing the peace. Starkville police processed and released him the same day.

“Everyone has the right to feel safe and respected in our community,” the Starkville Police Department said in a statement. he said. “Disturbing words alone are protected, but when behavior is corrupted is a public event or poses a risk of violence, “We will take steps to help maintain safety and security.”
The fundraiser on GiveSendGo titled “DEFEND PATRICK MCCLINTOCK” had raised $36,245 as of Thursday afternoon.
“Patrick McClintock, a 20-year-old American patriot, was handcuffed and jailed in Mississippi for the ‘crime’ of making vulgar remarks on November 10, 2025,” the fundraiser said. The statement is included.

Portnoy, who is Jewish, was filming a review of “One Bite” Pizza at the time of the incident.
McClintock allegedly shouted, “Hey, dammit Jews, dammit, Dave.”

“Why don’t you come on camera, man?” Portnoy responded. “Get out of Starkville,” McClintock said before Portnoy’s security and others in the area stepped in.
McClintock withdrew from Mississippi State University on Monday afternoon, a spokesperson for the institution confirmed to Fox News Digital.
