Gautam Adani gets Rs 37386407758 from Bangladesh due to…; asked to supply…

For the last 3-4 months, Bangladesh has paid US $ 90-100 million per month and paid $ 437 million in June.

Indian billionaire Gautam Adani runs the Adani group in various sectors, including power, ports and airports. The group serves not only in India, but also in neighboring countries. Now, in order to get a power supply from Adani Power, Bangladesh paid Adani the largest payment of USD $ 437 million or 3738 RS in June. The PTI reported that Bangladesh has cleared the waiting dues, including issues related to the transportation costs and power purchasing agreement. The country is now regular for payments. The company, led by Adani, currently has RS 2.28 Lakh Crore market value.

Bangladesh asks Adani Power to supply power

Since the payment issues were solved, Bangladesh asked Adani Power to provide power from both units according to the BPDB (Bangladesh Power Development Board) program. In addition, as additional safety is determined, a LC (accredited), which is given a two -month billing and dominant guarantee for all dues, said that it was aware of the issue. LCS is worth approximately two -month billing and dominant warranty for all dues, because the additional security puts Adani into a very comfortable state.

Adani Power-Bangladesh agreement

Within the scope of the 2017 agreement, Adani Power’s Godda power plant in Jharkhand was to supply 100 percent of the electricity produced from Burning Coal to Burning Coal for 25 years. After the payment defaults, Adani had half of the materials in November 2024. After reducing the country’s obligations, he restored full electricity supply of around 1,600 MW in March.

1600 MW Plant in Adani Power Godda

Adani Power provides electricity to Bangladesh from a special 1600 MW facility in the Godda region of Jharkhand, which meets 10 percent of the country’s power demand. As can be seen from the BPDB’s merit order distribution data, Bangladesh supplies the most competitive price.

In the past, Bangladesh had fought to meet his payment obligations under the 2017 agreement, because after the Russian-Ukraine conflict in 2022, he forced the local political turmoil-uline, which led to the transfer of the Prime Minister.
