Watch: BBC is suppressing the British Foreign Minister about the timing of recognizing the Palestinian state

Foreign Minister David Lammy announced that the Britain was trying to “influence the situation on the ground” in Gaza after he announced that Israel will recognize a Palestinian state in September unless he agreed to finish the crisis in Gaza.

Speaking with Tom Bateman of the UN in New York, Lammy said the world has seen the “most terrible scenes” in Gaza and called for a cease -fire.

He said that time came, “Reduce the pain of the Palestinian people” and set a path to peace.

However, the decision was criticized by the opposition parties, the liberal democrats say that recognition should be realized immediately, and conservatives and reform is not the right time of England.

The British government said that the recognition of a Palestinian state should come to a point where it could have a maximum effect as part of the peace process.

Lammy said that the statement on Tuesday “put us in a way to recognize us.”

“We reach these hostages that emerged as soon as possible, since the decision we have taken today affects the situation on the ground and we have reached this ceasefire.” He said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned to the announcement, and the movement “Hamas’s terrible terrorism” and “sedation of jihadist terrorists have always failed”.

Lammy asked the global community that the children who were shot and killed when they arrive for help were deeply uncomfortable “and asked to restore medical equipment and materials.

Worker Deputy Dame Emily Thornberry welcomed this change in British policy as a “historical moment”.

“I urge the government to take this step for months … We should not underestimate the importance of this movement.” He said.

Dame Emily said last week that England should move before going to the ground to get to know.

“Recognition alone is not an end, but a long -term, two -state solution must be the first step.”

Liberal Democratic leader Sir Ed Davey was critical, recognition should not be used as a “bargaining chip” to apply pressure to Israel and that no condition should be added.

“Instead of using the recognition that should be realized as a bargain chip months ago, the Prime Minister must be put pressure on Israel by stopping the sales of arms and implementing sanctions against the Israeli cabinet,” he said.

While conservative leader Kemi Badenoch supports the Palestinian state, he said that doing this will not solve the war or human crisis.

“Realizing a Palestinian state will not bring hostages home, will not end the war and will not get help with Gaza. This is the worst of the political stance.” He said.

Badenoch added that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was trying to solve a political problem because he faced pressure from his own deputies in the Labor Party.

Reform Reform UK Zia Yusuf criticized the government’s decision and said that the BBC was “political calculation” by the Prime Minister to the Newgnight program.

“What he did is quite aggressively, to insignify a terrible situation in Gaza,” he said.

At the address of Tuesday, Sir Keir said that Israel should meet other conditions, including accepting a ceasefire, a long -term sustainable peace that offers a two -state solution, and allowing the UN to restart the aid supply.

He added that Hamas should immediately release all hostages, registering, disarmament and accept that they will not take part in the Gaza government.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack on Hamas on 7 October 2023 against Southern Israel, and about 1,200 people were killed and 251 people were hostage.

According to the Ministry of Health of the region, at least 60,034 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
