Ghose Commission report ‘shall be inoperative’, ‘no action against KCR, others’: Telangana HC

The Telangana High Court, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, while pronouncing its verdict on a batch of writ petitions seeking to quash the Justice PC Ghose Commission report on alleged irregularities in the execution of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) project, said: Commission’s findings “it will become inoperable”.
“No action can be taken” against former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and three others based on the Commission’s findings, a bench comprising Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G M Mohiuddin said while reading out the valid part of the judgment in the First Bench.
