Gov. Greg Abbott threatens to redistrict 8 seats for GOP if Dem lawmakers don't return to Texas
Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott threatened to increase the redistribution margin for his party if democratic state deputies did not return to Austin.
Only the Democrats from Star State made national headlines to protest the efforts of Abbott and Republicans to redefine the map to form five congress seats for their parties, hoping to expand the strict margins in the House of Representatives before 2026 Midtarts.
