In the event that ISTS waiver is not extended, it will lead to a significant increase in tariffs and compete against other traditional resources such as coal produced from renewable sources and coal.

Last month, the APEX Industry Body Electric Power Transmission Association (EPTA) has expanded to the ISTS charges until 2026 and urged the applicability of approximately 30 GW Clean Energy Project.

EPTA GP Upadhyay General Manager, approximate investments La2 Lakh Crore will be affected if relief is not given to players in the form of an extension in the waiver.

Beyond the control of energy companies, the capacity was postponed and said that they could pass to CERC (Central Electricity Organization Commission) for solutions that may delay the commissioning of these projects such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.

Renewable energy projects are faced with various problems due to land existence, local problems and the Great Indian Bustard (found in Rajasthan and Gujarat).
