Greater Noida dowry case: Woman brutally beaten & set on fire while her child watched helplessly, shocking assault caught on video

Police claimed on Saturday that a woman in the mid -30s was beaten, dragged by her hair and was set on fire by her mother -in -law in Noida. The incident occurred in front of his young son and sister.

According to the police, the sacrifice defined as Nikki was attacked under the borders of Kasna Police Station in his home in Sirsa Village on Thursday night. He ran to Fortis Hospital with severe burns injuries and then referred to the Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. However, the police succumbed to their injuries before they reached the hospital.

The two disturbing videos of the incident circulate online. In one, a man and a woman have attacked Nikki and dragged her out of her hair. In another, it can be seen that it is pulled down the stairs after its flaming.
According to a PTI report, Nikki’s six -year -old son, who witnessed the attack, told journalists, “Meri Mumma Ke upar Kuch Dala, Fir Unko Chanta Fir Lighta Fir Lighter Se Laga di” (poured something to my mother, slapped it and fired with a lighter).

After marrying Nikki’s brother -in -law, his sister Kanchhan, who lives in the same family, also recorded a part of the incident. Nikki claimed that 36 Lakh RS was killed because he did not meet his dowry demand.
Kanchhan, according to PTI, “Thursday night, his husband was beaten and set on fire by his husband Vipin and mother -in -law. We were tortured on the dowry for days. They hit his head and neck, threw acids and persecuted against my sister. I was also beaten and remained unconscious.”
He also claimed that his mother -in -law had pulled Nikki off the road so that Vipin can be re -marrying.
Grand Noida Additional Police Commissioner (ADCP) Sudhir Kumar said, “On August 21st, we received a call about a woman who was accepted by burning injuries directed to the Fortis Hospital and then to Safdarjung Hospital. Unfortunately, she died before reaching.”
Police confirmed that an Fir was recorded on the basis of a complaint opened by Kanchhan. Nikki’s husband Vipin was arrested and teams were established to follow the other defendants.

Nikki, who married Vipin in 2016, survived by his son.
