Greg Gutfeld’s ‘What Did I Miss?’ season 2 premieres on Fox Nation

After months of being cut off from the outside world, five new contestants return to reality and are forced to quickly separate fact from fiction for a $50,000 shot.

“I had five actors locked up for 90 days with no cell phones, no live television, no internet,” Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld said as he kicked off the brand-new season of his season. hit game show “What Did I Miss?”

“They missed every headline, every scandal, basically all the good things I live for, so why did they agree to stay away for 90 days? It’s simple…money.”

Gutfeld returned to Fox Nation on Monday for the premiere of the second season of the high-stakes game show, in which contestants emerge from months of isolation to test their ability to separate real news from fake headlines.

Like the first season, players from across the country were shipped off to a remote location in upstate New York shortly after Thanksgiving and remained completely out of touch until after Valentine’s Day before facing a world they hadn’t seen in months.

“Can they separate fact from fiction…or have they just spent three months locked in a remote farmhouse for no reason?” Gutfeld scoffed.

When the contestants last saw the news, major global and political developments, including ongoing international conflicts and high-profile scandals, had not yet emerged.

Israeli hostages were still in Gaza, and the chaos surrounding the multibillion-dollar fraud scandal had not yet fully resolved in Minnesota.

“It’s crazy what can happen in just 90 days,” Gutfeld said.

“But our players missed every second of this great breaking news.

Tasked with vetting the contestants before they were isolated, Fox News correspondent Kat Timpf and comedian Jamie Lissow examined their belongings, opened suitcases and used handheld scanners to make sure no outside communications devices had made their way inside.

While some tried to sneak their smartphones, another contestant tried to hide prohibited items. But nothing passed inspection.

With the contestants completely cut off from the outside world, the focus now shifts to Gutfeld and the challenges that await them on the other side.

“Contrary to all logic, people volunteered to remake this crazy game show,” Gutfeld previously said of the show’s return.

“And the only thing standing between them and victory is me.”

Additional episodes of “What Did I Miss?” will be available to stream starting May 4 and May 11.
