Ground stop lifted at San Diego International Airport after aircraft emergency

San DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) – A plane stopped at San Diego International Airport (San) on Wednesday for all flights due to an emergency.

According to Jonathan Heller, the Director of the Airport’s Communication Program, around 21:23 hours reported difficulties with landing equipment after a special plane trying to get out of San.

The ground stop published in 19:18 prevented the incoming flights from entering San and the departure of the outgoing flights from San. All incoming flights were directed to other airports.

“The plane stopped without any injury on the ship, but it was disabled on the track and caused the track to close the track,” he said.
