Gen Z plump for prunes for health

Budes and All -Bran can be the butt of jokes about old age, but now they are flying off the shelves – thanks to the health madness called “Fibrexxing”.
The young British embrace high fiber foods on record numbers, change chickpeas, chia seeds and yes, changing sugary snacks for prunes.
According to the Times, sales data from Ocado show that prunes increased by 60 percent last year, fruit fiber grains increased by 52 percent and syllable grain increased by 59 percent.
Supermarket also found that 62 percent of Gen Z consumers are trying to actively increase fiber purchases – compared to 36 percent over 65 years of age.
