Haryana abolishes stamp duty on purchase of 50 sq yd, 100 sq yd plots

Haryana Prime Minister Nayab Saini announced that the stamp tax of housing lands up to 50 square meters in urban areas and up to 100 square meters in rural areas has been removed.
“The stamp tax will be zero from today, dedi Saini said, while the opposition responds to a call for a final increase in the collection rates on Wednesday by the opposition Inld.
The order includes all the properties purchased under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana.
Mr. Saini also claimed that the opposition was trying to mislead the people in the ratio of revised collector.
The ratio of collector is the minimum value in which a property can be recorded in government records. When buying a property, the registration fee and stamp tax are based on these rates.
Mr. Saini reported that the total rate of 2,46,812 segments in the state was only increased by 10% at 72.01%.
He said the whole process is based on the “data -oriented and rational formula” where the best 50% of the property records in each segment are analyzed.
Authorized, the registry value is 200% higher than the collector ratio, the maximum increase is 50%, he said.
Despite the adjustment, the collector rates in most fields are significantly below real market prices.
Saini said that this step is compatible with the goal of promoting the government’s transparent transactions and good management, blocking black money and enabling the public to process the property at real and fair prices.
“There is a great anger on the ratio of collector among the people. After walking collector rates, ordinary people are not appropriate for ordinary people to buy a house.”
“Why does the government want to upload to ordinary people, small traders, poor, farmers? The government should take back the walk rates.”
Mr. Saini, from 2004 to 2014 during the management of the opposition ratio increased by 25.11%, while the increase in the BJP government from 2014 to 2025, said only 9.69%.
He also stressed that the government did not impose any new registration tax.
Since 2008, stamp tax said 7% for men (including 2% development fee) and 5% for women, and these rates have remained unchanged to date.
The Prime Minister, who excavated in the opposition, said that the problem is not to increase the collection rate of the problem, but to escape the stamp tax, he said he was about people who make land agreements using money.
Mr. Saini said that the revision of the collection rates is a routine and transparent process that is carried out annually in accordance with market prices.
He said that the rates increased by 10% in all regions between 2004-2014, which was directed by the Congress, increased by 10%.
Saini talked about various examples such as Faridabad, where the rates increased by 300% in 2008, 220% in 2011-12, 220% in 2011-12, 2012-11 and 2011-12% Mahandragarh and Jhajjar 2007-08, he said.
During the Congress regime, he claimed that there was no formula to determine the collector rates and that the party’s policy preferred the builders and the mafia.
