BJP Rules Out Tie-Ups, Targets Cong, BRS

Hyderabad:BJP chief N. Ramchander Rao has made it clear that the party will contest all elections independently, ruling out any political alliance in the upcoming elections. He clarified that the “local level adjustments” observed during the local body elections did not represent the official policy of the BJP.

Claiming that the BJP has emerged as the real alternative in the state, Ramchander Rao, while talking to reporters, accused the Congress, BRS and AIMIM of forming a “secret, unholy alliance” to thwart the BJP’s momentum. He claimed that these parties were working together to defeat BJP candidates especially in Kamareddy and Karimnagar.

Rao said the victory in Khanapur municipality may seem local but it carries a strong political message for the entire state. He suggested that Khanapur residents signaled a broader desire for change across Telangana. “The people of the state have experienced the rule of both BRS and the Congress and have been victims of injustice. The only path to real development is the BJP, which has accelerated under the double-engine government,” he said and claimed that people in the state were determined to give an opportunity to the party.

Rao launched a scathing attack on the state Congress government, accusing it of being deeply mired in corruption and the BRS being paralyzed by internal factionalism. He said voters were disappointed with both the Congress government and the previous BRS administration.

The state BJP president, along with other senior leaders, attended the swearing-in ceremony of Khanapur Mayor Ankam Mounika. He assured that the party will explore all possible options to obtain funds from the Center for the development of the town as soon as the necessary proposals are received.

On the eve of the special session of Parliament to discuss Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, Ramchander Rao also had an interaction with women in Khanapur. He said the initiative is a historic step towards ensuring greater participation of women in the democratic process. He noted that by ensuring greater representation of women in legislatures, the law empowers the nearly half of the country’s population whose voices are underrepresented in policymaking. He also emphasized that the legislation is not just a reform but a transformative milestone that will strengthen institutions, promote inclusive governance and accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a progressive and developed nation.
