Heart-pounding video shows woman’s terrifying encounter with grizzly bear

A woman walking her dog in a forested area in Canada recently found herself being followed by a large bear, according to a tense viral video she shot on her phone.
Even though the woman repeatedly shouted “No! Go away” at the bear and made loud noises to scare the bear, the bear continued to follow her on the road.
After slowly advancing towards him at first, the bear suddenly began to attack, surrounding him as he continued to retreat and screaming for him to leave them alone.
The bear runs toward him for nearly two agonizing minutes, then retreats and rears up on its hind legs several times, revealing its massive size.

He eventually managed to distract the bear by throwing what appeared to be a water bottle behind a door. After the bear goes to investigate what he threw, the video ends with the woman speeding away.

According to Wilderness Escape Adventures in Alberta, which reportedly interviewed the woman on TikTok, the woman had just gotten her morning coffee and was only planning to go for a short walk with her dog near where she was camping with others.

He had just gotten his dog off leash and was starting to walk back to camp when the bear appeared.

The woman remained calm during the encounter and did not run away until the bear moved away from her.
Experts say you should never run from a bear because it can trigger bears’ predatory instincts and bears can outrun humans at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour.
