Heavy Rain Forecast Across AP Till Sept 29

Visakhapatnam: The Department of Meteorology of India (IMD) issued a yellow warning for heavy rainfall throughout andhra Pradesh and predicted heavy rain until the next five days until 29 September 2025.
The Air Department estimates the formation of another new low -pressure space on the North Gulf of Bengal, which is likely to turn into depression until September 26th.
According to the IMD bulletin published on Wednesday, depression is likely to cross the South Odisha-North and Pradesh coast around 27 September, and the coastal Andhra Pradesh will focus on very severe rainfall.

Vizag, hosting the center of excellence for energy transition
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh government will be a center for clean energy innovation, as it confirms the transformation of a modern super ECBC -compatible building into a center of perfection (COEET) for the energy transition. The decision was made at the last Andhra Pradesh Power Coordination Committee (AppCC) meeting, which was shared by the State Public Services, including APGİNCO, APTANSCO and other power distribution companies.
According to a press release from APEPDCL, Coeet will serve as a national platform for clean energy innovation, skill development, start and policy support. “This initiative is positioning andhra Pradesh as a leader in India’s energy transition journey ,, an official from the Energy Department said.
The center, which is registered as a society, will bring together energy sector organizations, academic institutions, thinking institutions, industries and beginners. At the focal point, renewable energy, energy storage systems, smart grills, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, green hydrogen projects and network operations will include AI and machine learning.
“Coeet will not be only a research center. We aim to educate more than 1,000 engineers and technicians through certificate programs, internships, scholarships and attempts to develop faculty,” he said. “We will support the beginnings through a special incubation and combine them with mentors, investors and financing opportunities.”
For the next five years, the center plans to make more than 20 research and field pilots, to establish at least 10 energy initiatives and to provide policy guidance at both state and national levels. The general organ under the Special Chief Secretary (Energy) will include the CMDs and MDs of large public services as well as representatives and thinking institutions from universities.
Super ECBC compatible building will contain an innovation laboratory, an R & D study area, educational classes, seminar halls, a starting incubation compartment and digital twin and smart grilled simulation installations.
