Hemant Soren launches self-enumeration phase of Census 2027 in Jharkhand

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday, May 1, 2026, launched the self-enumeration phase of Census 2027 in the State by registering his own details on the portal. He appealed to all residents of Jharkhand to fulfill their responsibilities by actively and enthusiastically participating in the Census process.
Senior Census officials briefed the Prime Minister on detailed procedures for registration on the online self-count portal, stating that the self-count campaign will be conducted by May 15.
