Heartbreaking videos shared by the sister of murdered student Henry Nowak have revealed the close bond the pair shared before his death at the age of 18.

Olivia Nowak has posted a series of emotional tributes on social media in the months since her younger brother was killed, describing him as a “forever 18-year-old” and telling her followers she will “miss and love you forever.”

These posts attracted attention following the sentencing of Vickrum Digwa, who was sentenced to at least 21 years in prison this week for Henry’s murder.

A tribute released 10 days after Henry’s death in December 2025 is set to Coldplay’s “Yellow” and is titled “18 brothers x forever.”

The montage includes clips of Henry enjoying family life, dancing at celebrations and spending time with loved ones. In several scenes, he is seen laughing and dancing with Olivia at their family home in Chafford Hundred, Essex.

Henry, one of four siblings, later moved to Southampton to begin his education at the University of Southampton.

The footage also includes moments from the Morrisons store, where both brothers work part-time, where the couple share joyful moments during their shifts.

As well as the happy memories, there are also pictures of flowers and mementos left following Henry’s death.

The second video features photos of the brother and sister together; One of them shows them holding hands, and the other is a photo taken during a family vacation.

Olivia accompanied the post with the following words: “I’ve never felt pain like this. Best friend forever. Fly high my angel brother.”

The tribute is based on Bruno Mars’ song “Talking To The Moon”, which reflects on missing someone who is no longer there.

The depth of the relationship between the siblings was also evident at Digwa’s sentencing hearing when Olivia made a moving victim impact statement.

Addressing the defendant directly, he said: “If you had known Henry, you would never have hurt him.”

She added: “My brother had all my heart. He was a part of me and when he died I lost a part of myself.”

Speaking about the years she’ll spend without him, Olivia said: “The real pain is knowing I’ll miss you longer than I can enjoy life with you. My brother didn’t deserve to be 18 forever.”

He also described Henry as his “first best friend since the day he was born.”

University freshman Henry was stabbed six times by Digwa, who falsely claimed he had been racially abused and assaulted.

The court heard Digwa used an eight-inch ceremonial Sikh sword during the attack.

Following the case, Hampshire Police Chief Alexis Boon apologized to Henry’s family after officers handcuffed and arrested the fatally injured teenager.

Hampshire county coroner Jason Pegg said the inquest into Henry’s death was expected to examine a number of issues surrounding the circumstances of the incident, including whether police actions caused or contributed to his death.

The case sparked a wider political debate, with Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch meeting with members of Henry’s family. The family also had a private meeting with the Prime Minister on Thursday.
