Here’s what Sheveport, Bossier roads are closed due to the winter storm.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is warning the public about a possible Arctic blast that could infiltrate the northwestern Louisiana region early Saturday morning.
Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing until Tuesday, January 27.
With this possible threat, roads are closed throughout the region.
The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) states, “Motorists should avoid being on roadways during inclement weather when travel is not absolutely necessary.” he said.

Benton Road (LA 3) Overpass over KCS Railroad in Bossier Parish
DOTD advises motorists to reach Benton Rd above the KCS railroad tracks in Bossier City. It recommends that the overpass be closed with immediate effect.
LA 154 Bridge over Lake Bistineau
DOTD advises motorists to close LA 154 on the Lake Bistineau Bridge in Bienville and Bossier Parishes, effective immediately.
Urban I-49, Shreveport, in Caddo County
DOTD advises drivers that urban I-49 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish is in the process of being closed.
This closure will affect both travel lanes, including the northbound lanes of I-49 between LA 526 and I-20, as well as the southbound lanes from I-20 to LA 3132.
Access will remain open from eastbound LA 3132 to southbound I-49. The connecting ramp from LA 3132 westbound to I-49 southbound will be closed.
I-49 southbound on ramp to I-220 eastbound, Caddo County
DOTD advises motorists to close the I-49 southbound overpass on the on-ramp to eastbound I-220 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, effective immediately.
I-49 northbound from I-220 eastbound ramp, Caddo County
DOTD advises motorists to close eastbound I-220 to northbound I-49 in Shreveport/Caddo Parish, effective immediately.
DOTD will announce when these roads will reopen.
