HGTV stars Tarek and Heather El Moussa’s Newport Beach home burglarized

Tarek and Heather El Moussa felt “violated” after a suspect broke into their Southern California home while they were on vacation.
The reality stars’ Newport Beach home was broken into earlier this week while the couple were vacationing in Mexico with their family.
Authorities responded to reports of a residential burglary that occurred near the Seamen’s Community after 6 p.m. June 8, officials confirmed to Fox News Digital.

“While the victim was away, unknown suspects entered the backyard of the property and broke the rear sliding glass door to enter the home,” authorities told Fox News Digital.

“Inside the residence, the suspects searched the master bedroom closet before fleeing through the backyard, the side of the house, and the front yard.”
Home burglary experts reported that jewelry was stolen from the residence.

Officers believe the home invasion occurred sometime between the early hours of June 6th and June 8th. The Newport Beach Police Department does not currently have an identified suspect in the case.
Representatives for Tarek and Heather did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The couple responded to the incident on social media on Tuesday.
“I am disgusted by some of the cruel, heartless people in this world,” Heather wrote on her Instagram stories while tagging her husband.

“Tarek and I feel violated and, to be honest, we are truly sorry. We are taking a break for a few days and will return to the statement shortly.”
“We are safe, the children are safe,” he added.

The couple welcomed their son Tristan in January 2023. Tarek was previously married to his fellow HGTV star. Christina Hack For seven years until their divorce became final in 2018.
