Horrific injuries that killed Celeste Rivas, 14, revealed by medical examiner after rapper D4vd was charged with her murder

A 14-year-old girl found dead in the trunk of singer D4vd’s car was stabbed to death and her limbs dismembered, the Los Angeles coroner said.
According to the autopsy report obtained by The Daily Mail, Celeste Rivas Hernandez suffered stab wounds in her liver and chest.
The young man’s body was found in a Tesla belonging to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, in September last year.
The harrowing report reveals that his ring and little finger were also cut off.
Burke is currently charged with first-degree murder, lewd and lascivious acts on a person under the age of 14, and dismemberment of a corpse.
Coroners also said Benzodiazepines and Methamphetamine were detected in his liver.
When investigators discovered his remains, part of his head was skeletalized and one eye was missing.
A defense attorney entered a not guilty plea to all charges on behalf of Burke, who appeared in court for the first time Monday.
Rivas’ body was found inside a Tesla towed from the Hollywood Hills on September 8 last year, one day after she turned 15.

Rivas Hernandez was reported missing by his family in 2024 when he was 13 years old.
According to the allegations in the criminal complaint, Burke was of such age that he repeatedly sexually assaulted her for at least a year, from September 2023 to September 2024.
California law punishes abuse of a child under 14 particularly harshly.
Authorities described Burke as a ‘fugitive’ when he was killed with a sharp object on or about April 23, 2025, while he was at his home in the Hollywood Hills.
Prosecutors allege Burke dismembered her body about two weeks later.
Murder charges include specific circumstances such as lying in wait, which could carry the death penalty, committing a crime for financial gain, and killing a witness during an investigation. Prosecutors did not say whether they would seek this request.
“We believe the actual evidence will show that David Burke did not kill Celeste Rivas Hernandez,” lead defense attorney Blair Berk said in court Monday. ‘We want the evidence to come to light.’
Berk told the judge that after months of media reports about secret grand jury hearings, he wanted a public preliminary hearing to be held as soon as possible so the judge could decide whether there was enough evidence for trial.

LAPD officers wearing tactical gear and carrying rifles descended on the 21-year-old musician’s Hollywood Hills mansion on April 16, 2026, and arrested him.
Under California law, Burke has the right to an evidentiary hearing within 10 court days of his arraignment. Nearly every defendant waived the right for this to happen so quickly, but he did not.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on Thursday.

Los Angeles County Medical Examiner investigators later removed the bag and ‘discovered the arms and legs had been severed from the body,’ according to court documents.
Police raided the $4.1 million house where Burke stayed in the Hollywood Hills last year
A second black bag was found underneath the first, containing dismembered body parts.
The coroner determined Rivas died in the vehicle “for an extended period of time before he was found.”
The coroner said she was wearing black tights, a tube top, a yellow metal chain bracelet and stud earrings when she was found.
Neighbors said the Tesla was moved several times in the past three months before being abandoned on Bluebird Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills.
Last September, the LAPD obtained a search warrant to search the $20,000-a-month rental house where Burke was staying in the Hollywood Hills. The police seized a computer from the house.
Burke broke his lease and moved out shortly after the raid.
