Second man charged with alleged rape of teenage girls on Great Yarmouth beach

Another man has been charged with allegedly raping and sexually assaulting two teenage girls at the beach.

Norfolk Police said Dawid Wlach was charged with two counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault after the incident in Great Yarmouth on May 16.

The force said the 35-year-old, from Caister-on-Sea, about four miles north of Great Yarmouth, appeared at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Center on Saturday.

The Polish national is the second person charged in the case.

Madalin Ilinca, 34, from Great Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court last month on one charge of rape and two counts of sexual assault.

Police said the charges are related to reports that two teenage girls were sexually assaulted and raped in South Beach.

While Romanian national Ilinca was detained, Wlach was released on conditional bail.

Police said both men will appear at Norwich Crown Court on July 28.
