Horror as man dragged from car in alleged shooting and kidnapping from Bass Hill home

Wild footage has revealed the moment a man was dragged from his car in an alleged kidnapping in Sydney’s south-west.
Police allege a 43-year-old man was getting out of his car on Coraki Road in Bass Hill at around 10.30pm on Tuesday when he was approached by three unidentified men.
A short time later a white ute pulled up to the quiet street and one of the men was seen running towards the driver.
Police allege the “unknown” man produced and fired a firearm while taking the 43-year-old into custody.
Wild CCTV footage showed three men dragging the 43-year-old from his car as he ran down the street, each holding a limb.
He pulled across the suburban street before the men put him in the white car and sped away.

The Robbery and Serious Crime Team was notified and launched an investigation to rescue the man safely.
Police confirmed the 43-year-old was released at around 10.45am on Thursday and transported to hospital for treatment.
