Child flown to hospital after dingo attack near popular campground on K’gari, formerly Fraser Island

A child has been taken to hospital after being bitten by a dingo near a popular campsite in an Australian heritage-listed tourist destination. The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said in a post on
The child was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
QAS has been contacted for further comment.
In May, a nine-year-old boy was attacked by a dingo at Yidney Rocks, and passers-by rushed to his aid and injured the animal.
