‘Israel made a huge mistake’: Did Kim Jong Un react after Israel’s North Korea embassy attack in Iran? Here’s what happened

In widely shared posts on X, Kim Jong Un was alleged to have said, “Israel made a huge mistake.” The quote quickly gained traction online, with many users reposting the alleged comment at a time of rising tensions in the region.
However, despite the viral circulation, there is no confirmed evidence that Kim Jong Un made such a statement. No official statement from the North Korean government or state media has confirmed this quote, nor have reliable news sources reported this comment.
Did Israel attack the North Korean embassy?
The answer is No. There are no reports of the North Korean embassy in Tehran being hit. Grok confirmed social media allegations regarding Israel’s attack on the North Korean embassy and the subsequent statement attributed to its leaders. Following unconfirmed claims that the North Korean embassy in Tehran, Iran, was hit by Israel, rumors began to circulate that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had made a statement.
The speculation comes amid a conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States, where tensions have increased in recent days and both sides have reportedly targeted strategic infrastructure, including energy facilities.

Kim Jong Un and his daughter were seen firing the gun
North Korea has released a new photo of leader Kim Jong Un’s teenage daughter, Kim Ju Ae, shooting a gun, once again fueling speculation that she could be the country’s future leader.
In the photo published by North Korean state media, Ju Ae is seen firing a gun while visiting a large arms factory with his father. The factory produces pistols and other light weapons used by military and security forces.
This came a few weeks after another photo appeared to show the teenager shooting a rifle at a firing range. Repeated images of him using weapons have sparked new debate among experts about whether the North Korean leadership is grooming him as a possible successor.
In the last photo, Ju Ae can be seen shooting the gun with one eye closed and flames coming out of the gun’s barrel. He and his father were also photographed wearing the same leather jackets while inspecting the facility and talking to officials.
During the visit, Kim Jong Un also tested the new gun at the factory’s shooting range and praised the performance and quality of the gun.
Ju Ae has increasingly appeared at major military events and political meetings in recent years. Analysts say these public appearances may be part of an effort to present him as the future leader of North Korea. Ju Ae was introduced to the world in 2022 when she accompanied her father on an intercontinental ballistic missile launch. Before then, the only confirmation of its existence came from former NBA star Dennis Rodman, who visited the North in 2013.
