I-90 closed in both directions near Snoqualmie Pass summit

Interstate 90 is closed in both directions west of the summit of Snoqualmie Pass.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said the highway’s closure was due to numerous accidents blocking the highway.
The closure extends from milepost 47 near Easton to milepost 71.
“Winter has decided to arrive a little later than expected. Unfortunately, this may have caught drivers off guard,” WSDOT said online.
Troopers with the Washington State Patrol say multiple semi trucks were involved in the explosions.
There is no information on how long this closure will last.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
