People Are Exposing The “Secret” Signs That A Woman Is Far-Right Or A Republican, And Oh My God

We recently he asked members BuzzFeed Community sharing subtle signs that a woman is right-wing (because many people have had thoughts on how to tell if a woman is right-wing) men secret Republicans). Here’s what they shared:

1. “Conservative women tend to be cautious about responding to how they vote, or pretend to be moderates by saying they’re ‘not very political.’ (To be honest, all conservative people can tend to do this if they think their honest answers won’t be well received.)”

2. “One sign of this is when women make excuses for bad male behavior or still support public figures with allegations of abuse or right-wing ideals. I think right-wing women are actually just collectors who grew up in a predominantly right-wing community and still live around it. I think it’s more like Stockholm Syndrome for a woman to be truly ****** MAGA. They’re more likely to choose not to see or accept negative traits in the men in their lives because ‘women are crazy’ or ‘made up’ stories are just the norm.”

4. “The sign that a woman is a right-winger is if she stays silent or says, ‘I don’t want to talk about it now’ when you joke about a lie pushed by hard-line far-right extremists or simply mention a current allegation on the internet. Avoiding a potentially unpleasant conversation to maintain fake social etiquette is a socially supported female role, and she may not want to tip the current balance to defend far-right ideas and escalate tensions.”

5. “One indicator is what’s in his dating profile. If he states his religion but not his political views, or makes a nonchalant, ‘not political’ nonsense claim, that’s usually a sign.”

—Anonymous, 41, Male, United States

6. “I think a Republican woman’s extreme criticism of non-traditional gender roles is a sign of sophistication. I was watching a show with a woman and she immediately started talking about a person we saw at a bar on TV. The person on the TV show had short hair but feminine facial features and a masculine style of clothing. The woman sitting next to me started saying, ‘I don’t know what ‘that’ is,'” I couldn’t find out this person’s political stance, but I think it’s a red flag to criticize a person’s appearance because it doesn’t fit into binary categories. The woman didn’t explain it even though no one had asked for her opinion. He felt the need.”
