Jewish group slams Democratic NYC mayoral hopeful over 'sick' mockery of 'sacred' traditions
A Jewish advocacy group is exploding Zohran Mamdani, a democratic New York Mayor’s Mayor’s Mayor, for mocking Jewish traditions on social media.
The organization says that Mamdani sent the “patient” video to X account last year. The video is from Geeta Brothers Duet Group, a satirical and comedy duo, wearing stereotypes of stereotypes for performance.
“Zohran Mamdani Jews Cosplaying, Dreidels, sending Indian men who turn and illuminate Menorah,” Stop Antisemitism X wrote in a statement about.
“Our holidays and traditions are not for your sacred and comedy pleasure, but Zohran Mamdani – this patient,” the group added the candidate for mayor.

Mamdani released the video in December 2024 and added the title “The 3rd Night of Hanuka from Astoria and Long Island City”.
The video stems from Geeta Brothers’ 2015 Parody album “Punjabi Christmas Album Hits”.
Mamdani sent Another video from the same album on Christmas is based on this “Jingle Bells”.
“I wish you all very happy Christmas from Astoria and Long Island City,” he wrote.
Mamdani’s campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
The accusations of anti -Semitism forced Mamdani’s campaign from the very beginning. The democratic socialist who declared himself rejected many times to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state and supported the BDS’s movement against Israel.
“I believe Israel has the right to exist,” he said during the primary debate in June.

Mamdani, a Muslim, also encountered criticism for refusing to condemn the phrase “globalize intifada.”
Stopntyicism founder Liera Rez argued that the election of the Mayor of Mamdani last week would be a “disaster” not only for the Jewish residents, but for everyone residing in the city.
“If Zohran was elected as the Mayor of Mamdani, New York City would be disaster for Jewish inhabitants,” Rez told Fox News Digital. He said. “And because of their very disturbing stances on socialism, we will go a step further in which New York City citizens will suffer to a great extent.”
