ICE shooting live US protests erupt in response to woman killed | US | News

As outrage over the deadly incident grows and protests spread across America’s major cities, the woman shot and killed by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer has been identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good.
Good was named by her mother, who spoke to the Minnesota Star Tribune after authorities initially described the victim as a “middle-aged white woman” who was not believed to be the target of any law enforcement operation.
But at a news conference about the deadly shooting, Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that the Minneapolis woman blocked agents with her vehicle for a long time before the shooting and called her a “domestic terrorist.”
Shocking video footage of the Wednesday morning attack shows two ICE agents ordering a woman blocking an intersection to get out of her vehicle. As he turns and begins to head back, a third agent arrives on the scene and opens fire, three gunshots can be clearly heard in videos circulating on social media.
The murder sparked nationwide outrage; Addressing the growing crowd, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called for ICE to leave the city altogether: “We demand that ICE leave the city and the state immediately,” he said. “We stand with our immigrant and refugee communities; know that you have our full support.”
