Thailand’s Disneyland has been described as an incredible tourist attraction, but people aren’t taking the rides. Chocolate Ville is an open-air dining venue located in the Khan Na Yao district of the capital, about half an hour from central Bangkok.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of popular Western and Thai dishes against the backdrop of a quaint European-style village with cobblestone streets, pastel-colored cottages, and fountains that make you feel like you’re in a Disney fairy tale. There are even mascot parades and fireworks displays that create a fun and festive atmosphere for diners. You’ll also have no shortage of space to explore, with a specially constructed “river” with man-made waterfalls and beautiful bridges spanning it.
Animal lovers can even encounter various creatures living here, including capybaras. But one of the biggest differences between Chocolate Ville and Disneyland is the scale and lack of rides.
The Bangkok tourist destination is primarily focused on food offerings, but if you’re craving a roller coaster ride, Bangkok is home to several theme parks.
