India Sends Medical Aid Shipment to Iran Amid Ongoing Conflict

New Delhi: India has sent its first consignment of medical aid to Iran as the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel and the US entered its 19th day on Wednesday.
The shipment, containing essential medical supplies, was delivered to the Iranian Red Crescent as a humanitarian gesture from India amid rising regional tensions.
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India acknowledged the support given to the people of India and expressed its gratitude. In an official statement, the embassy said the aid had been successfully delivered and expressed appreciation for what it described as a gesture from “the respected people of India”.
The embassy also shared video footage showing the delivery of medical supplies and emphasized that the aid was delivered to Iranian authorities.
The aid comes at a time of increasing instability in the region and ongoing hostilities raising concerns about humanitarian needs. India’s move underlines its support in providing relief assistance amid the crisis.
