India stands with Australia: PM Modi condemns ‘ghastly’ attack

Two gunmen shot dead at least 11 people at Bondi Beach on Sunday, with 29 others confirmed injured.
Meanwhile, sources said that a high-level alert regarding a terrorist attack on Hanukkah was recently issued in India. Sources said there were inputs that terrorist organizations were planning major attacks on Jewish establishments around the Jewish festival in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The eight-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah began on Sunday. Sources said the intrusion was very serious and security had been increased at certain places.
Among those injured in the fighting is a man who survived the October 7 Hamas attacks in Israel and recently moved to Australia.
Describing the attack on Sydney’s Bondi Beach as a “bloodbath” and “an absolute massacre”, the man told 9News: “I was here with my family, it was Hanukkah celebration, there were hundreds of people, there were children, there were elderly people, families were having fun.”
