Indian firm Yotta to build $2 billion data centre with Nvidia’s Blackwell chips — one of Asia’s largest AI hubs

Indian data center company Yotta Data Services said on Wednesday it will build one of Asia’s largest AI computing centers using Nvidia’s latest Blackwell Ultra chips.

The cost of the project will be more than 2 billion dollars Reuters.

Yotta, a “new-age Digital Transformation provider deriving its value from end-to-end capabilities in Hyperscale Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure” was co-founded by Hiranandani Group CEO Darshan Hiranandani and ‘India’s Data Center Man’ Sunil Gupta.

Yotta specializes in building cloud and AI infrastructure and currently operates several Hyperscale Data Centers, including Panvel in Maharashtra, GIFT City in Gujarat, and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

There are also multiple data centers planned for major Indian cities including Jaipur, Patna, Guwahati, Indore, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore and Kochi.
