Influencer, 30, dies after horror head-on bike crash involving former Olympian during her HONEYMOON
German phenomenon Laura Viktoria Härtig died at the age of 30 on Sunday, almost three weeks after she crashed her bike while on honeymoon in Italy.
Härtig passed away on June 23 in the Dolomite mountain range following an accident with 57-year-old Peter Runggaldier, a one-time Olympian who was riding a motorcycle.
According to Italian media, the accident occurred on a road near the Sella Pass. provincial Dolomiti And Trentino.
In the incident, Härtig’s bike broke into multiple pieces and he was injured after falling to the asphalt ground.
Emergency medical personnel were able to resuscitate Härtig before airlifting him to San Maurizio Hospital in Bolzano, Italy.

According to the news in the Italian press, the Trento Prosecutor’s Office was investigating the events.
Runggaldier, who represented Italy in skiing at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics, posted a message in Italian on Instagram about the fatal incident on Tuesday.
In his message, Runggaldier said, “Dear friends, I ask you to respect my painful memory and my need for privacy regarding the serious traffic accident I was involved in.” he said. ‘My thoughts go out to all the people involved and their families.’
‘I trust your sensitivity and please understand that I will not be doing any interviews or statements at this time.’
A message posted on his Instagram page on Thursday commemorated the late creator, marking the dates of his life from January 25, 1996 to July 12, 2026.
The message, translated from her native German, read: ‘Laura went to her beloved mountains at sunset.’ ‘Mountains where the sun always shines, where there is the finest powder snow, where the best routes await and where a hut holds favorite snacks.’

On Thursday, a message was published on the Instagram page in memory of the late creator, stating the dates of his life from January 25, 1996 to July 12, 2026.

The message continued: ‘Thank you for your interest, support and kind words.
‘It’s truly remarkable that Laura has been able to share her passion with so many people on this channel and beyond. Until we meet again at the next summit, Laura.’
According to Italian media, Runggaldier was ‘seriously injured’ in the collision and was taken to Santa Chiara hospital in Trento, Italy.
