Insurance regulator plans sales clean-up, distribution reforms, chief Ajay Seth says

The number of complaints classified as unfair trade practices, including mis-selling, rose from 23,335 in FY24 to 26,667 in FY25, accounting for more than 10% of all insurance complaints received through IRDAI’s Bima Bharosa platform, the government told the Rajya Sabha in response to a question on March 17.
