Federal Court declares David Sharaz bankrupt over defamation debt to Linda Reynolds
Bennett said it was “very important that Ms. Reynolds’ reputation is vindicated” even if Sharaz cannot repay the full debt.
“[Sharaz will] completes the bankruptcy period. He is working, so his income will be assessed and he will have to contribute to the estate,” Bennett said.

“His travel will be restricted. He will need to cooperate with the board of trustees and will not be able to purchase luxury items.”
As trustee, Juratowitch has broad powers to investigate the couple’s finances.
“He is able to investigate their affairs to determine the truth about their finances, not the alleged situation,” Bennett told reporters.
“So we’ll find out exactly what they have.”
