International Relations and Iran ft Scott Burchill – MWM Live
Dr Scott Burchill joins The West Report for a straightforward conversation session on international relations and Iran.
Burchill is a senior lecturer in International Relations at Deakin University and has research interests spanning international relations theory, international political economy and Australian foreign policy.
We’ll look at what the major powers think they’re doing, what they say they’re doing, and what usually happens when the match is played. We will also talk about the narratives being sold, their underlying interests, and the risks of escalation.
Dr Scott Burchill is also the author of The National Interest in International Relations Theory and Misunderstanding International Relations and co-editor of Theories of International Relations.
