Baidu plans to expand its robotaxis to Europe with Lyft deal

Baidu The US will bring driverless taxis to Europe next year through partnership with Ridehailing company. LyftChinese technology giant globally trying to expand autonomous vehicles.

For LYFT, the agreement with Baidu can add a differentiation point in Europe and can pit against competitors such as Uber and Bolt, as it appears to gain a basis in the region.
Autonomous vehicles have become a big focus for driving greeting companies who want to be a partner with companies that develop technology for driverless cars.
In the UK, a market targeted by LYFT, Uber has established a partnership with self -driven automobile technology company to start completely autonomous driving attempts, starting from the spring of 2026 this year.
