Iran Reasserts Control Over Strait of Hormuz as Negotiations Stall

Iran has said it will maintain the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as long as the United States continues to block the vital waterway. On Saturday, Iranian forces opened fire on the side of an Indian oil tanker approaching the strait. The British Maritime Agency announced that there was no loss of life.
