Prince Harry urged ‘go back home’ by A-list star in devastating blow to Meghan | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Nicki Minaj called on Prince Harry to “come home”. The 43-year-old US rapper admitted to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that his heart was with the prince after he resigned as royal family staff in 2020.

The Super Bass hitmaker has spoken out about her support for US president Donald Trump, music and family life when the debate turns to the royal family. The Queens rapper admitted that he often watches the Netflix series The Crown in his free time.

While speaking on the Kate Miller podcast, she was asked about her thoughts on Harry and Meghan Markle, who have fallen out with the royal family, especially their father King Charles and brother Prince William.

After a brief pause, Nicki replied: “Well… I think he should go home. Like ET, he should go home. Call home and then he should go home.”

The Republican political consultant chuckled at Nicki’s reference to the 1982 movie ET, in which a troubled child musters the courage to help a friendly alien escape Earth and return to his home planet.

The rapper continued: “I thought the family shouldn’t air their dirty laundry.”

He added in a sarcastic British tone: “It’s just my life. I have nothing but love for them.”

Nicki continued: “I love the Royal Family like I know them. But I guess we Americans just love the idea of the Royal Family. So I was like…oops.”

“People do things and you don’t know why, you don’t know what’s going on inside them. So I don’t judge. But I thought, oh man, because I felt like I knew them somehow. So I said, ‘No Harry, don’t do that. You know better.'”

Nicki, also speaking in a fake British accent, said: “You know what I mean. But she did what she did.”

The rapper’s comments come after it was reported that Meghan would return to the UK only on one condition. In 2021, the Sussexes moved to Montecito, California, where they live with their son Archie and daughter Lillibet.

Harry has previously stated that he does not feel safe bringing his family to the UK without police protection.

While she is expected to return to the UK in the summer ahead of the Invictus Games in 2027, Meghan will reportedly only return if the royal’s safety is restored.
