Iran war: Iraq shuts oil terminals after deadly tanker strike | World | News

At least one person was killed in an attack on the Iraqi port of Basra early Thursday, according to officials.

Rescuers recovered one body and helped 38 people following the attack.

Farhan al-Fartousi, director general of the General Company of Iraqi Ports, said the targeted ship was transferring oil from ship to ship when it was attacked in the port of Basra in the Persian Gulf.
