Three dead after Audi, Camry collide head-on on Rocky Point Road
Three people have died after two cars collided head-on in Sydney’s south.
The crash between a white Audi sedan and a blue Camry sedan occurred shortly after midnight on Rocky Point Road in Sans Souci, leaving one of the vehicles on its roof.
NSW Police said the driver of the Camry, a passenger and the male driver of the Audi died at the scene. Not all of them have been officially identified yet.
A crime scene has been established and police are continuing the investigation with the assistance of officers from the Accident Investigation Unit.
Transport for NSW said Rocky Point Road was closed in both directions between Fontainebleau Street and Holt Road and there was no access to the Captain Cook Bridge. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use the Princes Highway, including the Tom Uglys Bridge, to cross the Georges River.
