IRGC threatens to ‘annihilate’ regional offices of 18 US tech giants over alleged espionage

Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a chilling ultimatum to 18 major American companies, warning that their regional infrastructure will be targeted following their alleged involvement in hostile operations.

The elite military force claimed that these companies were actively “aiding US-Israeli terrorist operations in Iran by providing espionage services,” according to a report by Iranian state media Press TV.

The Revolutionary Guard issued an official statement on Tuesday, saying these companies should prepare for retaliatory attacks. The military establishment stated that “retaliatory attacks that will begin at 20:00 on April 1, Iranian time” will be devastating.

It was warned that “the regional offices of the companies in the region will be ‘destroyed'”.

The extensive blacklist includes some of the world’s most prominent technology and industry leaders.
The “big tech” companies mentioned include Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft. The IRGC also identified critical hardware and infrastructure providers such as HP, Intel, IBM and Cisco, as well as other global giants such as Tesla, Nvidia, Oracle, JP Morgan and Boeing.

Iranian state media Press TV noted that the Revolutionary Guard classified these organizations as “espionage organizations linked to the warmongering government of the United States.”

The Guard claimed the firms’ “artificial intelligence (AI) and internet communications technology (ICT) services were key elements in designing terrorist operations and tracking U.S. and Israeli assassination targets in Iran.”

The rhetoric that escalated tensions followed Tehran’s claims that its previous diplomatic warnings were ignored.

The Revolutionary Guard claimed that Washington and its allies in Tel Aviv continued to conduct “terrorist operations” despite Iran’s protests.

This includes a targeted attack early Tuesday that allegedly resulted in the deaths of several Iranian citizens.

In its broadcast on Tuesday, Press TV conveyed the statement of the Revolutionary Guard that it changed its military doctrine.

“In response to this terrorist operation, the main institutions involved in terrorist activities will now be considered legitimate targets,” the statement said. The statement was included.

The military force issued an urgent warning for personnel to evacuate potential target areas.

Revolutionary Guards said, “We advise the employees of these institutions to leave their workplaces immediately to protect their lives. We also call on those living within a one-kilometer radius of these terrorist companies in all countries in the region to evacuate and move to safe places.”

The threat comes amid a period of intense regional instability.

Press TV has reported that since late February, dozens of senior Iranian political and military figures, as well as their relatives, have been killed in what Tehran describes as an ongoing campaign of “US-Israeli aggression.”

Iran has repeatedly “promised to avenge the assassinations by targeting elements instrumental in the attacks,” indicating that the scope of retaliation has been significantly expanded to include private sector entities.
