Israel reveals new ‘defence line’ in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that it had established an “advanced defense line” in Lebanon and published a map showing its troops operating in the south.

The distribution has been described elsewhere as “Yellow Line”.

He says five divisions are working to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure.

This line was not mentioned in the ceasefire conditions published by the USA.

Israel and Lebanon agreed to a 10-day ceasefire that will come into effect on Thursday.

The map shows dozens of villages within the region, stretching several kilometers into Lebanon, whose residents will likely be prevented from returning.

There has been no comment from Lebanese officials yet, but this move is expected to increase concerns about the scope and duration of Israel’s military presence in Lebanon.
