Israeli PM Netanyahu Meets Indian Envoy, Vows To Deepen Strategic Ties | India News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with India’s Ambassador to Israel JP Singh to discuss ways to further strengthen the growing India-Israeli strategic partnership.
The two sides investigated the expanding cooperation in key sectors, including security and economy. During the participation, Prime Minister Netanyahu interacted with senior Indian journalists and discussed a series of questions on bilateral and regional issues.
“Today I met with the Ambassador of India to Israel, JP Singh in my office in Jerusalem. We discussed the strengthening and expansion of cooperation between Israel and India, especially in the fields of security and economy – I met with a group of high -level journalism from India.”
According to the Indian Embassy in Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu stressed the need to deepen the Indian-Israel strategic partnership. Ambassador Singh conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and enabled the positive orbit of bilateral relations between India and Israel.
Last month, Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh held a bilateral meeting with the General Director of Amir Baran (DG) of the Israeli Defense Ministry of Defense in the new Delhi. The two sides agreed to further strengthen the bilateral defense cooperation with a long -term perspective. They agree to try to develop a corporate framework for further deepening of defense bonds.
Israel DG condemned the April 22 terrorist attack in expensive, and fully supported India’s struggle against terrorism. Defense Secretary Singh reiterated India’s zero tolerance approach to terrorism and condemned terrorist attacks on Israel on October 07, 2023 and asked all hostages to be released.
The two sides also reviewed the progress of the ongoing defense cooperation activities since the last joint working group meeting in India in July 2024. Israel’s visit took a very important step in India-Israel defense relations and strengthened the commitment of both sides to increase the strategic partnerships.
