Viewers watched in awe and amazement as Alan scooped the £87,500 prize, despite previously claiming he was as bad a Traitor as the series’ three star Linda Rands.
Alan’s surprise win came after Nick, 45, and David, 55, attacked Joe Marler faithful in a shock twist that stunned viewers at the last minute.
Although 35-year-old Joe correctly guessed that the remaining traitors were Alan and 25-year-old Cat Burns, he failed to convince the others and found himself exiled at the last minute.

The episode saw the final five (Cat, Joe, Nick, David and Alan) face an epic final mission aboard the show’s famous steam train.
It is estimated that 10 million people watched the grand final, which saw 49-year-old Alan the Traitor fool Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga into believing he was Loyalist.
Their mission seemed simple enough: board the train, find the keys, unlock the safes and collect the gold – all in 20 minutes.
But in true Traitors fashion, host Claudia Winkleman made a dramatic twist, revealing that the safes were rigged with explosives.
Luckily the team managed to grab the gold and get off the train before it exploded, bringing the prize fund to an impressive £87,500.
The group then faced a final roundtable meeting where doubts were high.
Believing Alan and Cat to be Traitors, Joe made a deal to vote against David while secretly plotting to expose them later.
Viewers watched with bated breath as David desperately defended himself before the singer was voted out after Joe made a last-minute U-turn.
The remaining Traitor Alan told the audience that Cat’s departure had “thrown a spanner in the works” as Cat had to fight alone for the win.
Suspicions were still high that a Traitor was still lurking among them, as the singer did not reveal his true identity in his exit speech.

Reflecting on her time, Cat said: ‘I wouldn’t change a thing. I made it to the final. ‘I’m proud of myself.’
Nick then attacked ‘True Loyalist’ Joe in the final moments, and the final four took to the fire pit to throw rocks and reveal if there was still a Traitor in their midst.
Nick said he was suspicious, having a shocking change of heart after noticing Joe saying “I’m sorry” as he banished Cat.
Nick said: ‘I adore you, I honestly didn’t believe it but you voting for Cat sealed it, but I love you.’
After being exiled by his Faithful friend, Joe said: ‘I read that very wrong. ‘It hurts to be stabbed in the back at the last minute’.
With just David, Alan and Nick left, it was up to them to decide if there was a Traitor among them.
David said: ‘I never believed Alan was a Traitor.’
Nick also voted to end the game. The actor said: ‘I truly believe you are both Sadik. ‘I think we’ve done it’ – only to have the rug pulled from under their feet when Alan made a bombshell statement.
