Producer Venkat K Narayana has revealed that ‘Jana Nayagan’ may release in the next 14 days and the certification process is now nearing completion.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai on May 10, the producer shared that discussions with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) are currently in the final stages.

This update alone was enough to send Vijay fans into celebration mode online.

‘Jana Nayagan’, directed by H. Vinoth, has become one of the most talked about Tamil films of recent months, not just because of the film itself but also because of everything that is happening around it.
The film’s release was reportedly delayed due to issues with certification. Then, last month, the internet leak controversy emerged, which brought the film back to the headlines. But now the team seems focused on finally releasing the film in theatres.

During the media interaction, Venkat K Narayana also praised Vijay and described him as someone who is disciplined and determined to keep his promises.

The filmmaker associated the title ‘Jana Nayagan’ with what he called a “new political phase” in Tamil Nadu under Vijay’s leadership; This immediately attracted attention considering what is currently going on in the actor’s political journey.
