Jarange Ends Fast as Govt Backs Quota

Mumbai: On Tuesday, activist Manoj Jararange ended the five -day hunger strike after accepting most of the demands of the Maharashtra government, including giving the appropriate Marathhas Kunbi caste certificates that would make themselves suitable for appropriate reservation benefits for Obcs. The reservation and other members of the panel in Azad Maidan from South Mumbai, which has been in which he has been agitation since August 29, point to the end of their fasting.
