JD Vance responds to Nick Fuentes’ use of racial slur against wife Usha

Vice President J.D. Vance lashed out at political activist Nick Fuentes for derogatory comments he made about his wife, Usha Vance, over the weekend.

“Let me be clear. Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can get s—,” Vance said. An interview published by the online magazine UnHerd. “This is my official policy as vice president of the United States.”

Fuentes – who Anti-Defamation League explains He used an ethnic slur to describe Usha Vance, an Indian American from a Hindu family—as a “white supremacist” whose “anti-Semitic comments largely focused on themes of Jewish power and Holocaust denial”—and was referred to as: J.D. Vance as a “race traitor” in one of his live broadcasts.

USA TODAY has reached out to Vance and Fuentes for comment.

On Sunday, December 21, the vice president spoke at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The meeting was the conservative group’s first annual summit since founder Charlie Kirk was shot and killed in September.

“Anti-Semitism and all forms of ethnic hatred have no place in the conservative movement,” JD Vance told UnHerd. “If you’re attacking someone because they’re white, or because they’re black, or because they’re Jewish, I think that’s disgusting.”
