Candidates seeking admission to architecture programs in IITs should note that registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 is now open. Will CBSE Class 12th scores affect eligibility for IIT seat?
According to a report in the Indian Express, a press release states that all qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to enroll in the JoSAA 2026 counseling process “irrespective of the marks or percentage obtained in the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.” The notification reads: “final seat confirmation/admission will be subject to the candidate fulfilling the percentage relevant eligibility criteria and other applicable conditions as specified in the JEE (Advanced) 2026 Information Brochure.”

Students can download their JEE Advanced 2026 scorecards by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in and clicking on the ‘JEE Advanced Result 2026’ link on the home page. They will need to log in using their ID number, date of birth and registered mobile number.
After submitting the details, the scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and save a copy of the result for future reference, especially for the counseling and admission process.
